You might as well trek to the bGundar/b reservoir which is also very pretty, pristine and densely forested. It is just off the Observatory Rd. There is a signboard on the road which says Off Limits in Tamil only, but it is not manned. ... Is it possible to just get the permits done through the bhotel/b I put up? (though I believe it can tricky as Santos pointed out). I was just thinking the bhotel/b will arrange for the permit if we pay extra bucks to the agent. ...
